Amvets Post 114, Elk Rapids, Michigan

The oldest active Amvet's post in Michigan, Elk Rapids Post 114 was chartered in 1946.

From Chris Keenan: Here's a link to a radio station that had an interview with my brother, BG Michael Nevin. He is currently assigned in Iraq as the commander of the 177th Brigade of Military Police. They are in command of Camp Crooper, and other detention centers, that have been in the news lately for what they've accomplished with detainees that have committed crimes against US soldiers. Most of them are between 15 and 19.

I'm also attaching a recent photo of him with another General and Anderson Cooper from CNN News.

Mike is a lifetime member of AMVETS Post 114.
